The Process

From your mailbox to the mission field.

Five clear steps. Written confirmation at every stage. Nothing hidden.

Complete the release form, then package and mail your items

Fill out the Item Release Form online — it tells us what's coming, how to handle it, and which 501(c)(3) ministry should receive the proceeds. Then print the completed form, place it inside your package, and ship to our receiving address using USPS Registered Mail with insurance — the standard, safest way to mail precious metals in the United States. See shipping guidance below.

We confirm receipt

The day your package arrives, we photograph the contents and email you confirmation of exactly what was received. Your items are logged and stored securely from that moment.

You receive a written valuation

We assess each item — metal content, weight, and current market value — and email you a written good-faith valuation. If an item turns out to be plated or costume rather than solid precious metal, we tell you honestly and you choose what happens next.

Items are prayed over, then melted down or sold

First, every item is prayed over in the name of Jesus — all curses, dedications, and soul ties broken. Then: idols, statues, occult emblems, and religious objects are always sent to the refiner and melted down — never resold. Coins, watches, and jewelry are sold as-is at market value by default, since they're usually worth far more intact and the gift to missions is larger. If you check the “destroy regardless of value” box on the release form, we melt or destroy everything you send — coins and jewelry included. Read why we do it this way.

Proceeds go to your ministry — and you get confirmation

Proceeds, less our disclosed 20% overhead fee, are donated to the ministry you designate on the release form — it must be a registered 501(c)(3) so we can verify the gift arrives (or check the box and we'll choose a vetted mission for you). You receive written confirmation of the final amount and the recipient ministry.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Shipping Guidance

How to ship safely

  • Use USPS Registered Mail — it's the most secure mail class, with chain-of-custody tracking, and the standard method for mailing gold and silver.
  • Insure the package for your best estimate of the value. Registered Mail insurance covers up to $50,000.
  • Double-box items, with padding so nothing rattles. Don't write anything on the outside indicating contents.
  • Include your printed Item Release Form — it carries your contact info, handling choice, and designated 501(c)(3) ministry.
  • Photograph items before shipping for your own records.

Our commitment to transparency

Idol Wealth is currently a private initiative, not yet a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Formal nonprofit status is planned. Until then, contributions are not tax-deductible. Our overhead fee is 20% of net proceeds — everything else goes to the Christian charity or mission you select, and you receive written confirmation of the gift amount and recipient.
